When we opened the doors to our beach town “sampling” room in Northport in the spring of 2017, we wanted it to be the kind of place where friends could enjoy great beer, in a laid-back atmosphere. Flip flops in the summer, snow boats in the winter – uber casual and a ton of fun.

We love sharing our passion for craft beer and celebrating our authentic coastal vibe–all inspired by our Northport roots. ​As our story and beer gained momentum, our followers tripled weekly. Today, keeping with the cool and chill vibe, our intimate tasting room, and outdoor beer garden is now selling cans, crowlers, growlers, slims & kegs!

Harbor Head Brewing Company was forged out of passion and fun. In fact, our sole purpose for entering an already saturated market ( industry jargon meaning “too much stuff” ) was to provide beer lovers with those two things.

Passion and Fun. And of course, flavor.

Look around you. Go into any supermarket, Any beer distributor. Any bar. Hundreds, sometimes thousands of different beers with an ingredient list longer than your arm holding another arm. People scatching their chin while meticously pondering over nonsensical titles like “Cinnamon Oatmeal Chocolate Walnut Brown Percolation Ale”. When did the simple, social and enjoyable act of having some beers with your friends warp into a science exam that required a crash course in flavor profiles?

How about beer that tastes good? Beer that you drink, not study. We’re not out to change the world. We just want it to taste better.
