Blue Point Brewing Company, established in 1998 in a former ice factory on Long Island, NY, has become a significant player in the craft beer industry. Known for its innovative and flavorful beers, Blue Point quickly gained a reputation for its unique offerings, including the award-winning Toasted Lager.

In 2014, Blue Point was acquired by Anheuser-Busch for nearly $24 million, expanding its distribution significantly across the United States. In August 2023, Tilray Brands, a leading cannabis lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company acquired Blue Point Brewing as part of a larger transaction involving eight beer and beverage brands from Anheuser-Busch. This acquisition is set to elevate Tilray to the fifth-largest craft beer business in the U.S. by sales volume.

Blue Point’s Patchogue-based brewpub is a local hotspot, offering exclusive brews, live music, a beer garden, and freshly shucked oysters. The brewery’s portfolio includes year-round favorites like Hoptical Illusion, Imperial Sunshine, and Pinstripe Pils, as well as a variety of seasonal and innovative beers.
